2 Cloves garlic

6 Ripe tomatoes -- chopped

6 Green chiles -- roast, peel,

Chop

1 medium White onion -- chopped

1 tsp Salt -- or to taste

1 tsp Pepper

1 tsp Vinegar

1 tsp Oil

1 bunch Cilantro -- chopped

Mash garlic in a wooden salad bowl. Add remaining ingredients, including cilantro, if desired, and toss. Chill before serving.

Yield: 2 cups
