Dream of life on the pueblo. Drifting off to sleep, I hear the beat of a drum very low. Become a bandit, Ancient Anasazi or cowpoke. While I eat breakfast in bed like regular folk. Feel that intoxicating big sky open space. Such a shame that I "lost" that suitcase. Breathe heavy . . . must be the altitude. Funny how I can't shake this romantic mood. |
